Protect Your Body from Harmful Effects of Weight Loss


Low Calorie Menu   -- Sudden Death

Limiting food and calorie consumption is the most common method to weight loss. Simply persist in this activity; you can obtain a fine result. Meatless Approach   -- Hair loss

As frenzy for weight loss approaches, hair loss rate also increases. Of 20%~30% of hair loss patients are women aged 20-30. The extra fat stored in the body act as a stimulus for the brain. It enhances the brain’s ability to gather and process information, increase long-term and short-term memory. People who surpass his/her average weight by 20%~35% are smarter; however, people who tries to loose weight by decreasing nutrition consumption loses the ability to memorize every moment of his/her life.

Weight loss at puberty   -- Amenorrhea

For women, puberty was not the right time for weight loss because the women body much preserve a certain amount of fat (about 17% of the total weight) to maintain the body function of having catamenia (women’s period). If the body does not have the necessary fat to maintain that function, it will cause delay of having catamenia or amenorrhea.



Weight loss during pregnancy   -- Sterility

During pregnancy, women need to have enough fat to carry out the important duty of giving birth. Women before pregnancy have to accumulate 22% of fat in respect to the body weight in order to be fertile. And up to 28% to provide nutrition to the baby for 9~10 months and 3 months after for breastfeeding.



Weight loss during breastfeeding period   -- Harm to the baby’s health

Weightloss is to limit the consumption of fat, and fat was the essential ingredient of breast milk. When fat is not present to generate fresh breast milk, the body will seek other stored fat to generate fat, and the stored fat might have toxics that might interfere with baby’s health and growth.
